The heel had been bent backwards and had broken the sole. I was devastated. They were suede pumps with a small peep toe and an interwoven ribbon. I had discovered them and decided to wear them to work. Big mistake. My heel slid into the gap between the floor and the elevator while I frantically lunged forward in order to refrain from being late again. I heard it snap, but didn't believe it had much damage. Even the suede was unharmed. They felt wobbly, but they had always been that way because they weren't made too well. It ruined my day completelyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
